The COVID-19 has brought a huge challenge to public safety. For public transportation, due to the large flow of people, make it a key target for epidemic prevention. Recently we helped one of our customers to design and install a fixed disinfection system for bus. The very tiny fog has a good dispersion in the coach and can cover each corner in two minutes.
   

The Designing Idea of the Fixed Disinfection System for Bus Coach

Usually there are some methods to handle the epidemic prevention for buses. Wearing masks all the way, body temperature detection and air exchange are necessary, meanwhile, daily disinfection and decontamination should be the rule for the operation and maintenance of buses. Manual cleanness, portable sprayers, backpack sprayers are optional for the disinfection of bus coach. In order to save the labor work and for fast and full disinfection, one of customers need a fixed system for bus coach to achieve the expectation.
There is DC 24v 60A power supply in the bus, no compressed air and no water supply. The fixed system must be designed as an individual device with tank and control panel. There are many seats, facilities and corners in the coach, so the disinfectant must be sprayed in very tiny fog in order to achieved a full flooding performance to reach each corners of the coach and make sure there is no dead ends. After communication with our customer, we determine to adopt the ultrasonic atomization device as the disinfection system.

Main Components of the Fixed Disinfection System

The fixed disinfection system for bus is consist of ultrasonic atomization host and dispersion system. We rebuilt the host based on industrial ultrasonic humidifier and make it match the on-board requirements. The host is fixed in the coach and disinfectant can be filled directly into the inbuilt tank and the spray time can be adjusted by the control panel. There is manual activation button near the driver for easy activation. We utilized the plastic tube and 3d printed air outlet to build the dispersion system, which integrated into the air condition system.  
The final performance of the fixed disinfection system got a good evaluation effect from end customer and be reported by several media. The products are under promotion in several cities in China now.
